The Air Force commander was straying off from the topic. He was now telling a story that was supposedly funny. Well, it should have been. But I’m the only one not laughing. No, I didn’t laugh because I didn’t understand the joke. I didn’t laugh because it didn’t hit me as something funny. Yet, I looked around me and everyone was laughing. Their mouths curved to a smile. It was as if it was really funny.
Perhaps, my humour is just really very different compared to theirs. Or my funny bone is not functioning well from 8 am to 12 noon.
